Did this really happen? Did this person really get scratched by a ghost or an entity of some kind? If you believe in ghosts, then you are likely going to believe that these people were indeed scratched by an unknown, and unseen force. If you don’t believe in ghosts, you are going to think that these claims are all hogwash. Are some of these claims fabricated in order to get personal attention or improve paranormal television show investigation ratings? Sure, probably the vast majority of them are. But are some of these cases unexplainable? Perhaps.
If ghosts or spirits are real and can manipulate energy, then they would certainly have the ability to scratch someone. But wouldn’t it be easier just to bonk someone upside the head if you wanted to get their attention or cause harm? If you are an intelligent ghost, why go through all the trouble of pinpointing all of your energy to penetrate a person’s clothes and create a set of 3 linear scratch marks that look like they were made by fingernails? As a ghost, you don’t have fingers, or even fingernails for that matter.
