There is no doubt that people are hearing sounds on these spirit box devices, and some even claim they’re getting direct responses to their questions. According to many product users, it takes a little practice and knowhow before you start getting any good results. Other people have tried them and have had no luck.
Do spirit boxes work as well as our favorite paranormal investigation shows would have us believe? Probably not, but it’s hard to say because we’re not in the editing room of these television shows. Regardless, it makes for good tv. If spirit boxes actually do work as well as we are led to believe, it would be quite the scientific breakthrough as spirits would be able to make direct communication and prove once and for all that they do exist. But no such luck, all we hear is are random noises that kind of, sort of sound like a word – maybe.
There doesn’t appear to be any scientific evidence that proves what people are hearing from their spirit boxes are actual ghosts or spirits making direct communication. Radio waves are all around us, and random noises can be picked up from anywhere. It’s even possible that radio waves can be coming in from distant galaxies. Who knows? The voice coming through your spirit box may not even be of this world (not likely, but possible).
There will always be believers and skeptics with this ghost hunting device. However, for us, it’s the unknown that offers the most intrigue!
